The one thing I want any future Bride and Groom to realize is that your Wedding Portraits should be the first thing you think about and your MOST IMPORTANT wedding event. Your dress will more than likely be worn only one time. Your invitations will be thrown in the trash after your wedding. Your flowers will dry up & wilt away the next day. Any food or drink that you have will be gone in a few hours. The band or the DJ will go on to another wedding and forget about you. The tux are usually rented so someone else will be wearing them soon. Your bridal party dresses will be left to hang in a closet and never be worn again because they usually don't go with any other event. If you have a caterer they will just go on to another wedding as well. Even the church you use or the hotel or lodge you use will have another wedding booked the next weekend and your day will be out of their mind as well. What will really be left of your wedding day?

Your wedding portraits will be there to last a lifetime if you have the right photographers and they are professional enough to know how to take them and have the light just right or the shots the way you want them. They also have to use professional printers (and I don't mean printers in their homes) that give you a guarantee of at least 100 years against fading and are acid free. Getting your portraits on a CD is good but even a CD itself will only last about 10 years and that is if you never touch it and keep it put up in a good CD case and then you have to remember that in 10 years you will need to transfer them over to another CD and so on and so on.
Sure you can go out and snatch up a $300 photographer that is trying to build up their portfolio because they are inexperienced and don't know what shots to catch at just the right moment or will just give you that 10 year CD. But, in the end, what do you have? Nothing like a Professional Photographers such as myself can give you.
First we are going to give you at least 2 Photographers for the price of one! Why is that? Because we know that no wedding would be complete without getting those extra shots that a second photographer can get that the first may miss while they are taking a shot in another part of the wedding or reception. Suppose you only have one photographer there and they are taking candid shots of the bride and groom while they are saying their vows or lighting their candles or kissing for the first time as a married couple, but in the first or second row of the seating area the parents of the bride or the groom is sitting there with tears streaming down their faces and no one is getting that shot that should be in your wedding portraits because you only have one photographer. Suppose at your wedding reception the bride and groom are in a quiet corner with their parents sipping champagne and the photographer is there taking that photo when over on the dance floor your grandparents are really getting down with the music and there is no one there to take that photo that should be in your wedding portraits. I am sure you can see from these examples the benefit of having at least 2 photographers. That is what PhotoVirginia.com photographers are going to give you.
As for my prices, I can't give you an exact quote until I meet with you and find out what you want because EVERY wedding is different. I do know that the economy is bad and budgets might not be that high for weddings but you do get what you pay for. Plus, I know that your wedding portraits are more important than anything else at your wedding. You want to have the best portraits possible to show your children, your grandchildren, or your great grandchildren in the years to come. My portraits are going to keep that memory alive in your mind and in your heart forever.
Don't forget when I book your wedding you will automatically receive a 16X20 Bridal Portrait made a month or so before the wedding for use on an easel at your reception and a beautifully handmade Photo Album with your married name on the front and made using your wedding colors.
